  • "Ask the Experts"

"Ask the Experts" will allow you to ask any question to the some of the top companies in the industry. Below each company's forum you will see a subcategory called Ask the Experts, once you enter that section you can post a new topic/question and will receive a answer from that particular company. This will eliminate sifting through 10s if not 100's of responses that may or may not be correct. At long range hunter you can be assured you're getting the correct and best advice to your questions. Enjoy!

I read a post on the MOA Facebook page earlier today it was an excerpt from Outdoor life:
    "Shoot Dirty
ā€œSnipers prefer to shoot dirty guns. In other words, we will not clean our rifles for 200 to 300 rounds. Leave that rifle dirty for the whole season!ā€ What is your opinion about this bit of advice, specifically as it relates rifles made by MOA Rifles LLC?

After proper barrel break in, we have found that we can use an approximate 4 box rule. After shot 80 you clean the rifle, shoot a few foulers, then you have another 78 or so rounds till the next clean. Of course if you drop your rifle and get debris in the barrel then clean immediately. We have found through following this procedure we've seen no diminished accuracy what so ever.
